2017/18 Cenk Tosun

Mate, I love PL and I don't claim Turkish League is an equivalent of PL or so but what I claim is it is better than Ligue 1 or Eredivisie etc.

To be honest, if an PL team will play against Besiktas today, the teams I would 'fear' will only be City, Spurs and Liverpool with their current form.

Anyway, just don't have this much hubris and just have an open mind. Cenk is your player now and although he is not Kane or Lukaku, he can lead you to victories. Instead of being prick, support him and as a hard-working fella he'll reward your support. For god's sake, you compare him to Niasse and DCL - it is an insult to him.

The frustration comes from the fact it seems we've bought another player that needs time to adapt. That isn't Tosun's fault I know, it's the ridiculous recruitment strategy of this club.

You obviously really rate Tosun but nothing is ever certain in football. The Premier League has seen plenty of good strikers from other leagues fail to adapt. I really hope this isn't another one.

Arsenal aren't even in the Champions League but have beaten us 5-2 and 5-1 this year. Besiktas topped a group that composed of the winners of Ligue 1 in Monaco, the runners up in the Primera Liga in Porto and the runners up in the Bundesliga in Leipzig.

Are you suggesting that a team that finished rock bottom of their group in the Europa League can't possibly benefit from Besiktas's best player ?

We’ve had several players from weaker leagues who’ve not been what we expected.

Besic
Niasse
Klaasen

To name but 3

Cenk looks like a 4th.

We need proven quality not punts, and let’s face it that’s what buying anyone from Turkey is.

Is it not the idiots who make decisions for this club you should be having a go at? We have been crying out for a striker all season. We then pay £27m for one who isn't ready to play. No logic whatsoever.

Why doesn't our wonderful manager play a team that might just create chances for the striker " he "bought . Then we might see how good or bad he is . Any forward would-be a flop in Sam's team tbf

As you said, he may or may not be successful in PL and I don't claim to know which it will be. But given the fact that he has not been given a chance to prove whether he is worthy to play at Everton or not - criticisms towards him are just irrational.

And everyone talks about a rumor he is awful at training but for god's sake - it is just a rumor. He was in competition with Demba ba, Mario Gomez, Vincent Aboubakar at Besiktas and from all these competitions, he came up being a better player. I don't think he will quit because of competition with Niasse (which I think is a crap player) and DCL (which I believe will become a good player in future).

Are you racist? Because the only reason you can think Dutch League (e.g. Klaasen) is better than Turkish league (or to be honest - than most of the leagues in Europe) is that you are a racist.
