The cynic in me creeps towards the idea that for both Niasse and Tosun the only way is down both financially and probably prestige at a level of this level.
It's nice to hear that both are willing to fight for their places and if true it shows real desire. On the other hand, Rom knew he could do better in both departments.

Sadly not good enough and doesn't fit into our style. I should imagine in a more direct team that plays two up front he would do well. But our style has changed. I can see him hanging around until the summer Niasse is definitely off.

I'm still horrified to see how little we score from corners and crosses. Tosun was putting his body on the line to get to crosses last year, now CBs just stand in front of him, or allow him to step off them, away from goal- where his finishing has really deserted him.

As soon as I heard his goal scoring exploits in Turkey where Similar to Kone and Gomes from Swansea I knew what we’d be getting. Sadly he’s been worse than I expected. You could put him in any team from 10th to bottom and he would look exactly the same. It’s just another example of how we waste money, judging by some names linked this month, it will carry on.
Best finisher at the club, actually has tons of ability (for me), I quite like his languid Berbatov style and passing.
However he’s slow and looks uninterested and doesn’t fit the new system.

Love him or hate him, I would rather have a player, willing and wanting to fight for the shirt we could only imagine dreaming of wearing. Too many players and agents jump ship. I like the fact he's said he wants to stay and he loves the fans. I hope he now goes to do well for us
We've scored 3 goals from crosses in our last 2 games, aswell as hitting the bar and having one cleared off the line. We scored from a cross against Burnley, and against Spurs, and had one controversially disallowed in that game too. That's not too bad I don't think.

True! Probably thinking about the chances Keane/Zouma have fluffed this season, and that Tosun- when on- is also no where near.
I noticed that as well. I was impressed as it cannot be easy sitting on the bench every week and still maintain your enthusiasm and support for the team.
