To be fair to him, playing with 10 men always the hardest for strikers, they work hard, help defense, get tired, so he got to play 10 men play 2 of 3 first matches of the season, not essy, still got 2 assists in those matches, nice pass to Theo today. He needs organised team play without any red, he will score goals surely since Bernard will start playing next week.

A goal at, say, 2-0 today, 1-0 or 2-1 at Wolves, 2-0 vs Southampton kills those games dead. These were goals Lukaku supplied in bucket-loads, also referred to on GOT as "pointless goals". There's no doubt that Silva asks Tosun to sacrifice himself for the team at times, which he does well, but if he doesn't score goals and we're relying on Walcott, Sigurdsson and Richarlison, we will feel the effects of missing a slotter up top.

I think he's been boss so far this season. Needs a goal and hell start slotting consistently imo
..ultimately, though, it’s an area we need to strengthen. You’re right that we don’t really have an alternative, I always think Tosun is ok but we need better than ok.

His an upgrade on Denis straqualrsi and that's not a complement.
If not the next transfer window he will be gone by the summer.
