I know the transfer market is chaotic at the moment, but there are still bargains out there....

Who would you suggest then?

Costa isn't a pacey 'in behind' player and he managed just fine. Giroud isn't either and he bagged his fair share. Not that Tosun is on that level, but not being fast doesn't mean players can't bag a decent haul. If we create the chances he will do well enough.

I agree entirely, however under our new manager things should be different....
We need more quality up front with a 20+ striker, Sandro & Tosun are not in that bracket imo....

Tosun might be, he has already done his settle in the Premier league period last season, and then looked decent in a waste of space team. With a pre season behind him and a fresh start he might be the quality striker we need, he showed great promise himself

At this point .....we are still that team !
Hope Tosun continues his development , but we need a lot of improvement besides him.

If Tosun starts most of the season, he will end up top 10 in the league in scoring.

His absolute greatest strength is that he is a really clean striker of the ball, all he needs are the opportunities. His second best trait, his one touch passing to players pushing forward is just what I think Silva wants from his striker.

We spent £47 mil in Jan to improve our attacking options. Seems we are adding another £35+ to the other side of the front three. Highly doubt we'd be in for Cenk's replacement right now.
