Everyone knows it's the run that makes the pass. You're not going to be sliding these balls into Tosun when they're not on. Look at his YouTube highlights and see how many of his goals come from defence splitting passes.

He does need a goal but even then he lacks any real quality....

He should be staking the box not linking up play with wingers that's what Sigurdsson and the other defensive centre midfielders should be doing.

He is working to get in the game but his game is to score goals. If he isn't in the box he won't get the service.

The difference it would make to our play would be huge. People think Tosun has good link up play because there's times when he controls the ball and lays it off. Look at West Ham's first goal today, that is proper link up play and is what we desperately need.
