He was the complete cf and even tho them knee injuries took a bit of pace away he was still an outstanding goal scorer , can you imagine how devastating he would have been playing for Man U

Cenk Tosun's rich life in Liverpool is not any different than it was in Istanbul. Tosun doesn't earn more in Everton than he earned in Besiktas either. He probably earns the same or a little less. Also, the cost of living is higher in England. In other words, Tosun hadlived more luxurious life in Turkey where football players are treated like Hollywood stars. Cenk Tosun earned around €2M yearly; and probably, it could have been around €2.5-3M by now. Let's not forget the fact that the football players pay only 15% income tax in Turkey.

However, if that was the case then why would he not choose to seek a move elsewhere as its been obvious since he joined that he would never be a starter.

Players do want to prove themselves and everyone else that they can compete with the best in the world's top league. The money will follow success eventually. If the player fails, he knows he can still move back or move to a lower league like China, Japan, or Middle East where he can earn a lot.
