Wickham scored an absolute worldy at The Hawthorns in 2016. Nothing of note (except a long sick note since).
Underwhelmed I think. We will get behind him of course. I give him about 8 minutes.

he is faster and more mobile than Wickham , at least i think he is haven't seen much of wickham lately
Never known Tosun to be injured mate, been everpresent for us.........on the bench.

No one has seen much of Wickham lately (unless you work in the treatment room). It's easy to be faster than someone who is lying down.

ha! that goal was something, pretty fast stuff from him. agree he wasn't so pacey in general, otherwise great finisher in the box, was just not suited to our system. will do ok there at Palace if it is confirmed

I used to live in Worcester Park and worked at BT in Wellesley Road, used to go to a few Palace games with my workmate who was a made Palace fan, that was when you had Geoff Thomas so late 80’s I think?

Remember people saying the same about Benteke when he went to Liverpool and then to Palace. That went well. lol
Probably in the minority, but I don’t think this is a good deal, unless there is a mandatory buy clause. Why loan him to a club above us, a direct rival for a place in the league which is probably worth more in prize money than the loan fee. It also leaves us with only DCL and Kean as out and out strikers, although Richy seems more likely to start up front than out wide now. I know people will say good to get him off the wage bill to bring others in, but just like Oumar, he will be back in a few months and back on it, limiting the more important summer window.

Yes, bought him from Crewe in 87 or 88. Stayed until 92/93. Met him once. Top bloke.
I also worked in Wellesley Road (in the offices above the Whitgift Centre) from 78-81.
