Gave us a few good moments in the dark days of 17/18. Genuinely thought he’d kick on the season after with Richarlison and Walcott either side and Sigurdsson behind. Didn’t happen.

....watched him on debut for 20mins & thought he’s exactly what we don’t need. The epitome of a Steve Walsh transfer.

The idea of Tosun was good. Goalscorer who can hold a ball up a bit, move into channels.

The actual Tosun was not good. Everything in his game was lacking for this level. That said I'm surprised a farmer's league side somewhere didn't take a punt at £10m or whatever it was last summer, as I think he'll get goals in lesser leagues.

If nothing else, his failure at least allowed the development of DCL on the pitch. Silver linings and all!

A game at Wembley against Spurs if I remember correctly. He wasn't able to keep up with Rooney when we were breaking forward. My opinion was exactly the same and we got absolutely battered all game.
