96 games and 41 goals before he signed but that was in Turkey and includes penalties. If you are going to sign someone with those stats it has to be a youngster with pace who is a bit raw but definite potential to improve.
He was never going to score more than ten a season if he started all the games.

Moshiri had seen him play against Monaco in the CL but Allardyce had already said he wanted to sign him for Palace and kept going on about hiw important it was to get your first signing right so the board and fans trust you.
