In truth, I can fully see why we took a punt on him because he does seem to have some good instincts to finish a ball but how our scouts didn’t question his pace I will never know. I can only assume the defenders in Turkey have lead in their boots because everyone could see it very quickly here.

I seem to remember looking at his goals per game and at most places it’s not bad and I think he played for Germany youth teams and scored a fair few there too. Not that I can ever imagine Cenk being young, he looks the sort that was 30 at birth

Which is exactly why I posted what I did earlier Mick.
We all know proper gash when we see / sign it, but with this fella there is an element of doubt for me.
