I still think he is a better option, than Rondon. He has been really unlucky with injuries, when on loan. Started great at Palace then had a bad one then again early in his next loan. Obvioulsy we need him off the books to save the money and so we can use it elsewhere. I can understand him not wanting a pay cut when he will be out of contract in the summer. But you'd think, he'd want to play.

As said earlier, there are going to be a lot of players out of contract in the Summer. Hope we will be more sensible with our signings from now on.

Did he start great at Palace? He scored 1 in 7 games and their fans didn’t rate him at all. He’s a really poor player, easily as bad as Rondon.
 

He is trying to force the club into giving Besiktas a better deal to get the players off the books imo.

If we agree to subsidise his wages then wait and see if he will wait until the summer.

I think this will happen but maybe not until very late in the window.

We certainly will want him gone... even at a cost.
 

He’s just another player that’s been here to long, it’s all gone stale on both him and the club he needs to move on ASAP. He can finish well and I’d say he’s better than Rondon, but in truth both should go, I’d rather see Simms or Dobbin get more playing time.

yes but what i can not understand we probably subsidise part of his wage. Not sure what wage he is on, but getting for example 80k a week here with no game time or say 60k subsidised wage playing week in week out i'd say a no brainer. Maybe it is an attempt to squeeze every pound out of us and he might still go
 
Can't wait til he's gone in the summer.

An absolute drain on the club who had absolutely no intention to leave permanently until his contract was up.
 
He must have been so shocked when we come in for him, all known form and stats showed that he was nowhere this level. He probably trebled his wages too.
