I agree pal. Iwobi and our Turkish friend are pound for pound the worst. People talk about Angel and Bernie Wright but they cost buttons. These two are in the Mickey Walsh and Joe Harper league. Slaven Billic and Danny Williamson got WHU a fortune off us, like Arsenal did with Walcott and Iwobi. I honestly dont remember Liverpool cocking up half as much. In fact under Shankly they spent buttons and came up with Heighway, Hall, Keegan and Clemence. That Shankly mentality is what we need now. Stop buying other top clubs fringe players and look at hungry late teen/early twenties players from anywhere.

The young Catterick had the same ideas, but sadly crating his own downfall plus his ill heath - your spot on signing older players not prem wise - its better to gamble in the lower leagues ..... I used to watch Unibond football & TBH there were better CF that Twoshins imo .....

Unfortunately I suspect we may end up continuing to pay a portion of his wages if he’s loaned for the last 6 months, on the premise any saving is better than non…..
Ideally we can get a fee and / or his wages covered 100% but somehow I doubt it with our recent track record.
