Nil Satis Nisi Optimum: NSNO Statement and Apology
During the past month, NSNO.co.uk and Everton Football Club have met with a view to improving the working relationship between the club and the website itself.
Over the past two years it has been well documented among members of Everton's Internet community that there have been issues between contributors of NSNO and members of staff at Everton Football Club.
During this time there have been frequent postings on NSNO which have understandably distanced the Club from the website, and while we do not wish to dwell on these, we feel it only right that apologies are forthcoming.
At the meeting an apology from NSNO was offered and accepted and a decision was agreed that a more professional and cordial relationship should be developed between both parties.
In order to re-establishing a fruitful working relationship, NSNO detailed changes in terms of the moderation of its forum, as well as a more rigid editorial policy in order to ensure incidents that have troubled members of staff at the club are avoided in future.
We would like to take this opportunity to publicly repeat our apology and thank the staff at the club for taking the time to participate in the meeting we had, and we look forward to taking the working relationship forward with the Club in the future.
NSNO has also personally apologised to a number of staff members at Everton including Robert Elstone, Ian Ross, Mark Rowan and Darren Griffiths.
Wow. Now they want to silence the punters...................
If people have views on how the club is run, they should be able to express them, last time I looked Everton where an English Club, not from Nazi Germany 1938.
If they dont like to get the abuse, leave us with no room to throw any.
