No pace in that center midfield last night Gomes Siggy can get going ,however, it takes an age.And Morgan was never known for pace. We are just too static

No, I didn't. I said it was harsh to judge him, but I wasn't on the evidence of that game that day convinced.
Maybe you were pissed when you read it?
Oh, we pretending he never had a bad game now? He utterly stunk for 6 months the season before last.
Hes a little tackle merchant. Nothing more.
you say this as if its an unimportant role
he would have broken their play up a lot more though mushTackling wouldnt have won us the game last night.
he would have broken their play up a lot more though mush
and we were NEVER going to win the gane with dommy no shots up front
He was a crap little midget that had no impact on our attacking play.
People think that Gana would have made DCL and Walcott score open goals?
Don’t think you’re serious. I’m sure you know how important Gana was. Every possession won means two things.
1. Stop the other team from creating any attempt. We don’t need to defend desperately near the edge of our box. Like we did yesterday because non of our midfield press and tackle well.
2. Every possession won means we have a chance to Attack. Gana average 5 to 7 tackle/intercept per game. That means we attack more with him around. losing such presence simply surrender our attacking attempt and therefore increase opponent chance to push us back.
So, basically, I didn't right him off as "crap".You also said, in the same post
"This is going to be a real problem area this season.
Delph
Davies
Gbamin
Gomez
Schneiderlin
Gomez aside* that's looking very second rate. "
This after the guy had played about 20 minutes.
Perhaps you were the drunk one, posting conflicting statements in the SAME post

We got there in the end.
The problem is we replaced him with 2 players, 1 we knew might have injury problems and the other who has just suffered an injury I have never even heard of.
With Gana on the pitch we still would have lost yesterday IMO.
He wasnt the 2nd coming, we lost plenty of games with him on the pitch, its gonna be like this all season tho sadly, every defeat, people will claim we miss Gana.
All we missed yesterday was 11 players able to play football.
You have to look at how we lost yesterday and how easy we get bypass and never had a grip in midfield for 3 consecutive games.
The new norm seems to be very vulnerable to counter. The ball reaches our danger area too fast and too easily.
We simply have no protection for our centerback and nobody to delay opponent attack allowing wingers and fullback to get back from advance position. This is something Gana did extremely well.
Our tactic is totally not suitable to cope with a midfield with no aggression now. I’ve said before Gana leaving meant that we need to completely overhaul the way we play.

They long ball’d it all game. Get it to Wesley and play off him, Gana would not have made an ounce of difference
We didn’t take the game to them, we were slow and pedestrian in possession. They were awful
