Thats ridiculous, from every angle - and especially the angle the referee had - its clearly not a penalty. How can you not be allowed to appeal!? Very Harsh.

Because according to UEFA you can only appeal if it's mistaken identity.

Disgraceful that. Agree with you about Wenger above too. He lost it in the run up to the game talking Arsenal's chances up. That's so unlike him usually. Pressure of not winning a trophy for so long getting to him now I think.

Lost it 4 years ago when he thought it was a good idea to prematurely retire one of the greatest box to box midfielders the Premier league has seen.

What else? Making a 22 year old captain.
Letting go quality players like Pires, Henry without replacing them.

4 years without a trophy? **** me the big cheese in Spain would rip him apart, bbq him and serve him up at a Fiesta.

Agree, outrageous decision.

To be fair to Wenger though, I thought they would collapse when he let Petit and Overmars go and he replaced them well enough. He has replaced Pires and more in Arshavin. Nasri needs to step it up a gear though.

Good call on Arshavin, just a shame we could'nt snap him up on the cheap a few seasons back when Moyes was monitoring him. Wenger's major problem has been the fact that he wats to spend much and relies too much on bringing in foreign youth, many of them that dont make the grade.

Yeah but its the rest of the pitch.

Adebayor? Total hit and miss.
Bentner? Barlow was better than him.
Walcott? Got no passion for the big games.
Eboue? Less said.
Cesc? Where is he?

I heard that this Vela is meant to be good, so how come he doesn't give him a game. Lacks tactical intelligence at the moment does Wenger.

Impressive performance by United. The final goal was outstanding and there can't be a better free kick taker in the world than Ronaldo. His set plays really are something to behold. Hopefully Barca will make the final and give us the showdown between Messi and Ronaldo (with Fletcher reinstated)

Evening Toffees

Men against boys last night loved it !

Was disappointed with Ronaldo's reaction after his first goal. By the letter of the law, he should have been carded for incitement of the Arsenal faithful. He showed arrogance in his celebration for what was a great strike but aided by poor goalkeeping but still, he should have refrained from showing such cockiness. Park's goal was yet another mistake but United deservred victory against an Arsenal side who looked a little star struck. Great third goal by United on the break and Arsenal's consolation was never a penalty. Vidic is the unlucky man but to be honest, he should have seen red for holding back Cahill when he would have ran clean through on goal so i guess it is swings and roundabouts.
