A poor day for football this. It's like when Greece won the European Championships. As a partisan fan you can overlook it when it's your own team doing the stifling, much as we did ourselves in 04/05, playing to our limited strengths perfectly, but as a neutral it sure aint good.

I take it you have put a bet on Barcelona mate? Still time for something to happen but i just cant see it at the moment.
 
Chelsea have been great. Should be 3 or 4-0, if the three pens denied were given - and Drogba scored his chance.

Approaching 85th minute, and Barca still haven't had a shot.

Like when Greece won the European Championships?

Personally think Greeces victory was good for football, shown what was possible.
 
Barca last min goal. Nightmare for us. They'll have well more emphasis on us now, they'll be desperate to get something out of the season.
 

Chelsea deserved to be in the final. Three blatant penalties denied and Drogbas sitter. Barcelona only had the one shot on target. Messi and Eto'o were completely anonymous. Chelsea fans will be absolutely pig sick.
 
I dont know why Chelsea are kicking off really.

10 men down. 1 goal up. Had plenty of clear cut chances.

Good on their players venting frustration at that pathetic referee. Three blatant penalties he denied. No excusing that, if it was us we would be livid.

Will never forget Weir and Stubbs shaking the hand of Collina after Villarreal. Baffled me that.

You've gotta finish what you get. Chelsea had plenty of times to sow the game up and didnt, even against 10 men.

They'll moan about the peno shouts but they really should've ended the game.
