I had Moyes down, as finishing above us, Arsenal and Spurs to get Europe was no mean feat. Bielsa is a fair shout though.
I would have had Moysie as his main contender for the award. Just think Bielsa taking a club up and immediately making a mark was the most impressive job. None of this ‘finding your feet’ mantra that so many sides that come up are tagged with, Leeds basically went toe to toe with every opponent. The style of play he brings is also a huge plus. You are never bored watching a Bielsa side. Entertainment should be a prerequisite for any quality manager, which is why anti-football served up by the ilk of Mourinho mean he will go down as a great winning manager, but that’s it as his teams instantly forgettable. When Jose retires football won’t miss him, the same cannot be said for Bielsa.
Exactly what I was going to say! I remember that match clearly and I have never before or since seen such an outrageous refereeing performance. Hell, I was swearing at the TV myself! Drogba was a legend, and I'll never be convinced otherwise.
Was shocking officiating that. Collina times 10. Players were running after him at one point. Ballack I recall grabbed his jersey. Was fabulous when Iniesta scored, but Chelsea were definitely robbed.
Nah, it was Guardiola who made them look good with his over thinking.
A major factor in the result along with Chelsea’s organisation.

Support of the UAE? lol

No, I'm just saying don't throw stones in glass houses when our benefactors are from just as dodgy a country, where state sponsored killings, bribery, blackmail, ANTI-LGBT rights and so on are rife too.
And @Paris - take this non footie talk elsewhere !!!!!

That referee = seriously dodgy.

Blubbing away wanting to be the centre of attention. If he'd done his job and sent Rudiger off instead of getting conned by him the outcome would have been different.

Football was the winner last night.

City are a vile club.

Indeed. At least the Chelsea team and manager is a little bit likeable. The City team is packed full of absolute wrong uns and the club is nothing but a vehicle for sportwashing.

Rudiger - what a class act. Taunting his own supporters for wanting him transferred in January: "Who wants me out now?".

A thug and a con man who should have been off with a red and leaving Chelsea under the cosh for 30 minutes.
