More than anything, I hope it is a decent game and that the global brand isn't at all damaged. At such a trying time, footballing authorities and corporate sponsors need our support more than ever.

Scary to think that Milan were actually the underdogs in that final. Barca had swept all before them en route, and famously thrashed Man Utd earlier in the competition. Milan were a great side but were without Marco van Basten, Gianluigi Lentini, Franco Baresi, Alessandro Costacurta, Florin Raducioiu, Jean-Pierre Papin and Brian Laudrup due to either injuries or the 3 foreigner rule, yet they produced an incredible performance. In my opinion the most complete performance by a club side I've ever seen.

Barca beat United in the 94\95 season. Barca's defeat to Milan was in the 93/94 season.

Yet another reason why Toby's thread should have been allowed to stay and this one deleted tbphwy.

Let's hope the ref is as influential as one of the corner flags.
seen some great corner flags over the years, admittedly the ones from the last couple of CL finals haven't been much to shout about but I think those on the pitch tonight could surprise us.

I can't find an option to bet on Suarez biting someone online, can't be bothered getting up and going to a bookies. Anyone got a link? It supposed to be a present for somone

Fingers crossed Pat. Heard some good things about them, all very hush hush, keep an eye out.
