He's saying he wouldn't swap situations, not swap clubs...
But to be in that position we could well have had to make some of the same decisions/compromises as Liverpool the club made, ones like running down the local area so could build the new stand for instance.

And even if you are in that position on your own terms I don’t think it says a lot about your ethics if others believe there is a decent chance of you joining such an uncompetitive farce of a league.

But this is a thread about the European Super League so what’s the relevance of bringing up the past success of Big Red?

If we had won the amount of trophies they had and we suddenly became part of a “big 6” breakaway to this nonsense, I’d stop supporting us immediately.
Thats either a bad lie or the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard. That's the problem with an element of our support, zero ambition.

I mean, it’s already off the ground. They have an actual president and have all left various associations they’ve been involved in.

They’ve also got financial backers and agreed TV deals in principle with Amazon There’s no going back IMO.

I'm hopeful the 14 remaining teams and the Premier League will ratify some changes that ultimately lead to 6 new teams added to the division over the next few seasons.

There needs to be action taken the likes of which we've never seen before. There can be no way back for them.

If and when they want to return, it should be as a brand new football club which applies to join the football league right at the very bottom (8th/9th division or however low it goes), and no guarantee that even the new version of their club gets accepted.

They cant (without support of the six) - to remove or add someone to the PL would take a vote of 75% majority rather than the traditional 14 votes. The 14 cant go off on one either way.

Best order my rugby league rules for beginners book.
And what about the poor SPL clubs who rely on Celtic/Rangers?

The whole thing of inviting the bigot brothers is shameless and no better than these 12 snake clubs.
agreed but a new UK platform would be great in my opinion. Goes without saying the old firm would have a tittle in the bag before long and the likes of Aberdeen and hearts would grow on and off the field. Surly a very attractive proposition tv money wise.

That's just them organising themselves. I can unilaterally appoint myself Junior Vice President of Compu-Global-Hyper-Mega-Net, but until I actually open for business and have paying customers, it means nothing.
