The punishments will be the bare minimum won't they. Knowing that UEFA may ban them from European competition, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if the Premier League docks each team 15 points (City would still win the league) and fines them £20m each - which would be utter peanuts compared to what they will all get just for joining this new league.Hopefully the Premier League are in the process of putting their statement together with massive punishments for all 6 of them. Would suit me down to the ground if they all just fecked right off tbh and would be a much fairer league without them. Go extremely hard on them PL please.
It's probably already happened with confidentiality agreements signed by everybody.Players contracts are unbelievably complex with rights over images and competitions etc. How the hell are they going to renegotiate with every single player in time to start a new competition?
2 wrongs don't make a right.
How does us breaking the rules help anything?
I wouldn't count on BMD happening. We're going to come out of this with less money even if it is the best thing in the long term. On top of that I think it sends the right message saying screw it and staying at Goodison Park. Who cares about capacity? Goodison is what football should be.
I was having some trifle, lovely it was. This may sound like hyperbole, but this is seismic, and for football fans, this evening will go down in history as one of those “where were you when X happened” moments.
Exactly what it says. Clubs arnt registered to play and UEFA or FIFA games. Dont know what this means for the players though as these are employees. Basically sounds like the players wont be registered for FIFA and UEFA (due to their clubs) so wont be able to play the EURO's or World Cup as they are FIFA and UEFA tournaments
I hope we make a stand and do not turn up at the Emirates on Friday. If we have to forfeit the points so be it. Some things are bigger than 3 points and a football match.
Leeds should do the same tomorrow. Clubs need to stand up for themselves against this shameless power grab.
We don't have to worry about them after May.I dunno
But it just doesn't feel right if we play matches against these teams who don't believe that PL points tallies should be necessary for European qualification?
I'm tired of it being all about money.Disagree Less TV money = greater importance on gate receipt, fan revenue etc.
What people aint realising - Usmanov is in this for a plaything he aint paying good money on a naming rights deal for the fun of it.
He might know my old handle on here better as I think I called him a bellend a few times before when he had his mad moments.@Connor or @MikelsGoat do the honours please from me and Kaiser with much love, cheers fellas x
