Letting Goodison go with a quiet subtlety, and not having her besmirched by the rampant megabells of the premier league.
Keeping the pressure on the board so they are continually not welcome at home games means the tit-heads having to explain the whys and wherefores at away grounds when they meet the brass. (top brass, not the other kind)
Not having to loan out our players to get Championship experience, although the idea we'll be as strong as Burnley have been with Kompany's contacts to rely on is foolhardy.
We swap one nightmare (that we are in) for a hopefully lesser one, and it gives the spivs in the media time to talk up Arsenal as the most consistent member of the top division and how that'll be made a great thing of with Everton out of the road.
Yep, the journey is nearly done, bullspit bill has his success where agent johnson failed. What a guy, what a legacy, oh these wonderful good times.

Well, if it takes dropping down a division and losing 70 million pounds a year for Garner to start looking good then who wouldn’t be up for it? Bring it on!

I've been telling myself it's an opportunity to integrate Branthwaite, Patterson, Garner, Cannon and maybe Simms & Mills into the first team whilst ditching some of the overpaid deadwood.

We all know though that Keane will still be playing, we'll eke out another season from Coleman and Maupay will be our main striker scratching around for double figures.

I'd like to think that too. But like you say, Dyche will want to get back straight away...so won't be playing dem kids if he deems them not good enough

So with relegation looking likely I was thinking of a few positive things and here’s what I came up with

NO matches against the RS
NO VAR
Everton might win a game
More Everton(could be a negative)
Hopefully a complete rebuild but unlikely with the board
Any more?
VAR is starting in the Championship next season ..... Everton That - if we end up there that is ...... if we stay up the board will go anyway ...
As for bouncing straight back up, not a certainty either .... more negatives in going down than you think - while we have a chnace mathematically hope for the best imo -

There are absolutely no positives to going down. We have a 500-700m stadium around our neck, we lose money hand over fist as it is. A reduction of at least 50% income even with parachute payments. It’s financial Armageddon and will be the end of this club.

The way it’s looking the Championship will probably be the strongest and most competitive it’s ever been next season. Which will be just what we want…

Lots of ‘we will win more games’. Who is going to score these goals? Who is going to create the chances? I think a lot of people are going to be very disappointed when we finish 9th
