Would you trust this regime to get players in that could compete when they have constantly shown to be inept at doing so.

Yes we want to be part of the big boys club (PL) But scraping survival in the coming games will do what for us for next season?, most believe we need a total new squad, so next season with a few new players we are hardly going to be bombing up the league, it will be rinse and repeat again and again and the bottom end of the league.
That is a concern….they’re not good enough to attract the right calibre of player in a league they are supposedly familiar with…..they’re going to be buggered in a league they are meant to be less familiar with

Well, if it takes dropping down a division and losing 70 million pounds a year for Garner to start looking good then who wouldn’t be up for it? Bring it on!
Ain't happening.

Forest bought 100 players in the summer, yet didn't want to buy him.

None.

At all.

There isn’t one.

There are absolutely no positives to going down. We have a 500-700m stadium around our neck, we lose money hand over fist as it is. A reduction of at least 50% income even with parachute payments. It’s financial Armageddon and will be the end of this club.
In the financial state this club is in today - there are absolutely no positives in dropping down to the Championship!

If it wasn’t the Everton we know

I would say it’s a opportunity to press reset from top to bottom

Unfortunately it’s the Everton we know
Said this last season when we looked certain to go down. The whole club needs reset and clear out from players, board and executive staff and the chairman. Also the owner but unlikely at present. I’ve always believed the only way that would happen is getting relegated. Now before people start jumping on me, no I don’t want to go down. But I know realistically if we did go down, then the club would have to change from top to bottom even if it didn’t want to. Firmly believe if we remain the prem the cycle would just continue. Which brings me me to your main point with the current set up of the owner, chairman and board. I have no faith they would get the reset right. So it’s are only hope that major changes happen in the next few week’s regarding the chairman and board. Regardless of what league we are in.
