….that genuinely is something that he will improve on. The important thing is, he has the physical ammunition to defend. Strangely, a few of the Scottish posters and the player himself suggest his defending is ok.
Like you, I saw the Scotland game where he gave a daft penalty away. Forwards at this level will go past him but you would hope that will happen less and less. I genuinely wouldn’t be too hung up on that aspect, he might even improve our defensive capability, lots depends on him being alongside a good talker.
