If he keeps scoring at the rate he is then 8 million pound would be an absolute bargain.

I hope the player's choice of future club would prevent a situation where you have QPR and Southampton outbidding the likes of Everton and Newcastle.

If he decides that he is good enough for one of the Premier League's chasing pack, and such clubs are willing to spend 5-8 million on him, then the likes of QPR won't get a look in, no matter how much they offer.

Charlie Austin is now 5/4 (from 3/1) to join Everton in January, with contenders for his signature thought to be few and far between. Newcastle are 6/1 while QPR are 8/1 – but the Toffees are clear favourites to sign the Burnley striker
 

Loans lads, not £8m championship players. Just forget any thread involving permanent deals unless we sell someone for a fair amount, which probably won't happen this month. The only current rumour that is remotely believable is the tall French guy who doesn't get a game for PSG.
