2024/25 Charly Alcaraz

I like the term progressive carries the stattos are using. It's the biggest change he can make to the team in an ideal world. He has the strength, work rate and athletism to cover the ground that swapping him in as a more technical player to carry the ball from the center to good effect doesn't mean sacrificing other areas.

If the fee rumours are true it's a no brainer

So far he seems a good fit for the league. Hes strong, quick, and with lots of energy. He seems to carry forward well and see passes well or create space with good touches under pressure. Im more curious as to what he looks like when he plays 90 minutes week in and week out hopefully we get to see that by the end of the season. What you can consistently do each week is what defines the better PL players.

This might be too early to say, but im starting to think we should sign this guy permanently. We look so much better going forwards with him in the side, and i cant see us getting anyone as effective for a similar price.

Im fairly confident he will sign, maybe its the bad minded in me, but we should probably wait till the season ends, cos I dont wanna say it, but SOMETHING could happen that means we wouldnt wanna sign him.

I like players with good balance on the ball. It's why Ndiaye is so good. He can ride challenges and stay on his feet and keep dancing. Charly is similar plus he can run at full sprint and still hit the pass on a dime. Also looks to have a good strike with both feet.
