2024/25 Charly Alcaraz

….maybe watch the game and not rely totally on your computer game database. Whilst stats are an important factual element, they really aren’t everything.

Funny thing is i watch the game. Actually quite a variety of them on top of Everton.

You dont seem to do so as youre so stuck in the past with Moyes you clearly havent see any of his teams play nor have any clue about his former players.

Youre basically a Moyes arselicker...

Does he live down your road as well...

Obviously thats your opinion mate and you're fully entitled to it.

But that will have obviously not baring on Moyes's decision to keep or sign Charly.

I just thinks it's odd that he's not getting full 90s or at least getting a proper run.

Moyes will have an idea of what he wants and Blues might have to accept Charly might not be it... I hope he comes through,I like the lad.

Moyes cant be left anywhere close to transfer business.

Done great...now its like...crap, we have this clown back again.

Too double our money on him he's going to have to play.

It's clever in hindsight but Moyes isn't going to sign a player just to make a profit on him in 12 months,he's going to sign players he thinks will push us on.

This is also absolutely stupid in the days of PSR.

I don’t think he’s a bad player at all, but shouts of ‘no brainer’ for me just seem a little off the mark.

He’s got great ball striking and looks fantastic on the counter in transition. The off the ball stuff is a worry though, do you think we can carry anyone currently? The reason doucoure is playing is entirely because we can’t. If however Alcaraz had James esque magic or anything then clearly it’s a different conversation. Or Cahill/Richi work rate/business. He doesn’t though (it appears) which is why he’s not a nailed on starter here.

Balance of everything I’d probably roll the dice for the fee, we do need to figure out how he’s going to be in the side though (especially if Moyes sees Iliman in the 10).

His work rate at Southampton looked good to me as has it done when hes played his position for us.

I’m basing it entirely on when hes played for us, forget about ‘his position’ if hes on the pitch he should be working hard.

He absolutely, 100% was sulking yesterday at playing on the left again. That stinks to me.

I dont blame him. He must be furious seeing Moyes pick Harrison and Doucoure...on top of that, to pick them ahead of him must have sent him over the edge.

Benitez arselicker
Dyche arselicker
Moyes arselicker

You're a 3 in 1 arselicker.

You're posting how:

Doucoure was necessary yesterday...despite highlighting nothing about his performance as you didnt watch the game.

Though youre claiming im using a "computer game" to see what was plain as day on the pitch....in a game you clearly didnt watch.

Your tongue is so far up Moyes arse youve got his jellied eels for your tonsils.

What?

First time I’ve ever seen someone advocate for a loan player downing tools because he’s had to play slightly out of position.

Embarrassing.

Also it was clear as day as to why Doucoure started yesterday, Tim struggled in the middle as it was, it would have been far worse with one fewer body in there.

Look how much we struggled down the left when Alcaraz came on.

I think clown is harsh mate...we don't have to like him but want he's done for the club past and present should have earned him some respect from the fanbase.

As for transfers this summer we don't know the structure at the minute or how it will pan out, but if goes belly up you'll be the first person I'll come to and say you were right.

But also hopefully you'll have the humility to hold your hands up if Moyes gets it right because people on here seem to struggle with holding their hands up when they're wrong.

£15 million gets you nowt the days. He won’t be on crazy wages and can clearly contribute to a Prem team. He’s the best ball carrier in the squad. Will be amazed if we don’t sign him.

Weve needed a ball carrier for ages and Gnonto et al were the ones we looked at especially for this purpose.

Now we have one...hes dropped in favour of Doucoure. Shins that bounce the ball.

Ndiaye coming off the left and Alcaraz coming on should not have affected the left hand side -- because a left sided player came off for a central player.

I have no problem with an attacking player (who is clearly head and shoulders better than any of the attacking midfielders bar perhaps Ndiaye) being frustrated having been dropped for a donkey and then brought on in a foreign position.

The circumstances yesterday are precisely why many of us wanted Moyes binned the first time around...he is a coward vs the top 4 and makes absurd decisions like yesterday.

Iroegbunam, Patterson, Doucoure and Harrison were all used strangely yesterday.

I dont think its unfair to suggest that its stupidity to remove the best 10 at the club in favour for the worst 10....several times now.

Yesterday took the cake with the sub as well.

Im annoyed.

…yep, Doucoure is awful in possession but he certainly helps us defensively and maybe best supports the inclusion of Ndiaye on the left. I guess for Moyes it’s still a matter of not getting beaten and staying in the game.
I fail to understand why a player that offers nothing , even as you say in defence ( he's much likely to lose possession in defence as elsewhere on the pitch )
Which leaves defensive headers , I can't really recall him even exelling at that either.

He's a liability wherever he plays .

Remember secret meetings with "Sir Alex"

Remember the low ball offers

Remember how the club should accept derisory bids "for the good of the players".

Hes done very well with points on the pitch since returning.

Do i want him to bum me? No.

Do i want to lick his arse like @Eggs ? Again no.

Mate relax.

We're only having a little Sunday debate here. You're losing your head bit here.

Yeah I remember what happened with Moyes in the past...and that's just it,its in the past.

You cannot say Doucs won't be here and Alcaraz will. Neither are under contract for next season as it stands.

He's currently 4th choice given Moyes picks Doucoure over him and would likely pick Ndiaye and Mcneil over him. That makes him 4th. It is not a no brainer to sign him or else the club would already be doing it ASAP.
How is he 4th choice when he started in the Derby. If we had this debate on Friday then he’s a starter. It was clear who was rested after midweek.
