Knowing Everton it’ll be a case of not wanting to trigger any payment and wanting to renegotiate the deal. Which is fine by me. We’ve got to make our money go a long way

He looks fine to me. Good feet. Travels up the pitch with the ball without looking like he's gona fall over.
Unless we've got this abundance of high quality cheap targets on the go. This looks a no brainer to me.

If decision making was high up on Moyes priorities he wouldn't be starting Doucoure in the 10, who has 1 assist all season.

He’s picked for his physicality. Alcaraz certainly doesn’t have that.

He does have physicality though.

I don't disagree with you that he has been just OK so far but he does offer physicality himself.

Hard to judge when he is being blatantly played out of position
When played in position, he looked really good.

So now the goalposts have shifted- it’s about his physicality, not his decision-making?

Honestly, I’ve never watched Alcaraz at Southampton or with us and thought he looked too weak.

Soucek maybe? Or Doucoure for another year? Both aren't even 10s. Alcaraz is getting harshly treated by some in here, fine player who's defo worth the 15m clause.
