2024/25 Charly Alcaraz

True he's better than the usual.

But he's a tad too late on the "finalising this evening bit "
The lad and has done his goodbye video and Flamengo confirming everything.
Barring the permit and medical it's done.

Still it's way too left field for these lads to catch up with.
The fella linked in a "local reporter" who actually said all the details.

Where's the board translator?
Nothing about concrete this time.

'Charly' Alcaraz returns to Europe . Everton has signed the Argentine midfielder on loan until the end of the season. It includes a mandatory purchase clause that will become effective if the player plays an undetermined number of matches. According to sources close to the operation, Flamengo will recover almost all of the money invested (18 million euros) just over six months ago , the most expensive signing in its history.

The deal took just over 72 hours to close . An express sale that leaves a good taste in the mouths of all parties involved: Flamengo recovers the money invested and 'Charly' joins a project where Moyes will bet on him from day one. The player will travel to Liverpool this weekend to undergo the medical and sign .

'Charly' will not have an easy start to his return to the Premier League . Everton are fighting to get out of the bottom of the table, they are sixteenth, but with a seven-point advantage over the relegation line. Everton are clearly betting on a player they have tried to sign for several seasons .

The Argentine was an old target for Everton. The first talks to try to sign him date back to the summer of 2022, when he was still playing for Racing, but the club's difficult financial situation prevented the operation from coming to fruition. However, with the change of owners (The Friedkin Group) reality changed. Alcaraz arrives renewed after half a year in Brazil , conquering the Premier is his main objective in this new adventure.

The whole 5 clubs in 3 years thing needs to stop.

Was a very good player for Southampton and Juventus came calling, which he's hardly going to say no to.

Juventus was a train wreck last season (as the season before) and he barely got a sniff. It's not to say he's a busted flush.
Moved to Flamengo and it would appear weve met his release clause and its an obligation to buy at the end subject to him meeting targets.

Hell beat a fan favourite here if he can replicate his Southampton form i reckon.
Seems decent so midfield sorted in depth. Defence not perfect but we can manage. Just a CF or three to go.

Maybe he can get his mate to join.
