The Flamengo Regatta Club informs that it has reached an agreement for the transfer, on loan, of athlete Carlos Alcaraz to Everton, England. The contract provides for a mandatory purchase clause conditioned on the fulfillment of goals established between the parties.
"The decision to negotiate Alcaraz was made after a detailed analysis, considering both the vision of the coaching staff and the interests of the club. He is a great player, but, within the game model adopted, we understand that he would have few opportunities to play his best football. The negotiation guarantees a good opportunity for the athlete to follow his career with more prominence and, at the same time, respects the club's financial and sports strategy," explained José Boto, Flamengo's Football Director.
The player will not travel with the delegation for next Sunday's match (2), against Botafogo, in a game valid for the Supercopa Rei 2025.

Yes, I saw him a couple of times and thought that he was a real talent and should have been Southampton's best player but for some reason he mostly sat on the bench. Some similarities to a young Arteta. Hopefully Moyes has found us a new Arteta
