Cheap eats anywhere (excluding Macs and B King)

Bold St is great since it reinvented itself as a kind of cosmopolitan eating area, loads of good places to eat there. What it lacks is a decent place to drink actually on Bold st.
Bier used to be ok but it's changed it's name (again) so don't know what it's like now.

Erh wood streets the next one over with oneils woodys and the swan so cant really complain too much

Yeah, but Bold St could do with its own decent gaff in its own right, with all the decent little restaurants there now.

Dispensary is just over the road too, as is the little Grapes.

Quite a fan of the pilgrim and heebies too (though they do need to call the exterminators for that hipster infestation)

The Grapes is currently closed for a re-furb.

Fingers crossed they don't feck it up!

Eat for less is a decent place if its a franchise elsewhere.

1.50 jacket potatoes, 1.75 meal deals wirh baguettes, paninis etc

basically the most you pay is 2.25 and get a can and a portion of fries with it.

If you're ok with dodgy imported chicken (all three or four pieces with cheap mayo or flavouring), reconstituted mush for chips.. and if a cold wrap often made yesterday is your kind of thing then go for it. Oh and if you like 50% cheese (the other 50% being vegetable fats) on your pizza too.

Well I don't expect premium cut meats for 1.75 mate haha

Went to a small cafe in Primrose Nursery, Haskayne today, it was a belter, even did bread pudding. The car park had some nice motors parked up with there rich elderly owners scoffing away inside tasty and cheap.

They seem to specialise for cyclist, even have a special entrance for them. Apart from the nursery they sell some of the biggest koi I've seen locally, £250 a pop if you want one
