Brilliant in the first half. System worked well and Chelsea couldn't deal with it. They pressed higher up the pitch second half, we switched the system and were sh*te. Moyes got that wrong. However , you could say if we had the money to buy better quality players then our goalie might have held onto a routine shot and not been beaten at his near post. Can't blame Moyes for that. Interesting times ahead.

to be fair though, what did mucha do to deserve dropping? howard's been good since he came back, but he doesn't really deserve to be our number 1 imo. i doubt even calamity mucha would have spilled that one

Played really well first half and were still in with a shout 2nd half but didn't have the balls or, ( to be fair to Moist ) the bench to go for it so he reverted to type.

He's done a great job but I'm hopeful for the future with the players we have.

Anyway, lovely day down here with lots of ladies in skimpy outfits so it's not been all bad.

all starts at chosing 3 defenders and a keeper on the bench? why? kennedy, vellios, many other exciting young attacking players, but no that's a massive statement that you pick a bench in the hope of holding out for a result rather than trying to win one

Vellios is a bit crap mate. All he's ever done is chip in with a couple of goals towards the end of games, whenever he's started or been on for longer than 15 minutes he's almost invisible. He's got no standout attributes at all and the fact that he hasn't even featured for the U21s recently shows that.

not saying he's good or anything, but he deserves a chance over jelavic surely? we're not talking about him being 1st choice striker here, we're talking about the bench. He's come off it to make a difference and he's scored goals, what more do you want froma sub striker?

eh?

we were 1-1 looking good for the win, playing better than them

We finished losing 2-1 with them much the better team and us plaing for the draw.

Chelsea stepped up and our players turned pap. Even Jagielka had a shocker.

The changes he made still created chances, and if Jelavic scores we go 2.1 up. He didn't. He had another 2 chances. He didn't convert.

That's the bigger story than "playing for a draw"

he's not as ****e as jelavic, and he's a better finisher than chebe

He's only ever scored about 5 goals for us and offers pretty much nothing. He's scored 5 goals in 21 games for the U21s this year. That's about the rate that Jelavic has scored at but whilst playing in the first team.

Please dont go,DOOOOOOOOONNNNNNTTTTTTTTT GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOO OOOOOO DONT GO AWAY HEY HEY HEY

My mum could finish that Jelavic chance ffs.

But ahh well, lets just enjoy the short bit of a break before the madness of the transfer window
