You've got to hand it to the players, no matter what is thrown at them they are just getting on with it, Jo gets injured and the Yak comes in and scores. Great result today, cant wait until; Arteta, Jags, Neville, Osman..........you get my drift. We even had the luxury of leaving Seamie on the bench today!

Well done today Toffees will be watching on MOTD between sulking

Bad day at the Office for me

Villa look a ******* good side by the way

On todays display will get top 4 in my opinion

What happened there Nev? Watched the last twenty minutes and wasn't what I was expecting.

You'll still catch them though.

Just one of them days mate

To be fair Villa were excellent as were their support

We had quite a few chances but it just wasnt to be Vidic and Brown were back but didnt look fit, Rooney was below Parr, Park was too lightweight

Still confident

Could have been worse but for an excellent result by the peoples club(y)

Mr D Stevens, a fine Partisan and no mistake.

 To be fair to BB, he has a reasonable point about the quality of football generally under Moyes, although there are always spells where we are tantalised by how decent the team can be - however, I don't think today is the day to make that point. I'm made up with the result & pleased to hear the recent improvement in team spirit & on-field commitment seems to have continued, it's the least you expect of Moyes' teams .

Great result. I didn't watch it or listen, i couldn't bare to. I walked myself round our village for about 30 minutes till the end of the match because i couldn't be arsed to watch the TV but a great point. I feel we've really turned a corner now and looking forward to 3 games that we really should be winning.

Really? I recall reading that he already had the nickname when he arrived at Goodison Park.

I was referring to sometime after his footballing debut, and not his visit to Goodison.
His name came from the Tranmere supporters, not ours. Any true fan of his wouldn't call him Dixie, as the guy didn't like it.
