we're lucky we've scored 0 tbh - our attacking play has been abysmal. not going to pretend i'm not happy with barry missing the next two games. we miss robles' distribution as well, i loved the part where hoard played long to lennon to flick on, no idea how it didn't work but that's football i suppose

Considering we played with what felt like 8 men with the performances of Barry, Naismith and Barkley being non existent the rest of the lads done fine and looked solid. Can't have 2 up top though playing as poor as that because everything just keeps breaking down. Good half by Lennon though, been tidy.

Barry is too slow for this game and is likely to be sent off. Naismith's passing is poor and is going through a bad run of form at the moment. The way we are playing I think we are defending great and dealing with this onslaught of pressure but I can't see where our goal is coming from, we can take a point which would be satisfying but why be happy with a draw? I don't see the point in that.

John Stones gives so much for our composure and has given Jagielka that much needed confidence.

Don't know if this was discussed before kick off, but is there something wrong with Mirallas?

Would like to see us play with two wingers!! (and one of them not being McGeady)

Might just be that Naismith is more defensively inclined to deal with Cuardrado?

I'll get my one gripe out of the way and that is poor Joel, he has done everything he canto be number 1, I fail to see what more he could've done. Other than that we are playing well considering who we are playing, we are matching them

I'd get Mirallas on for Naismith here. He looks like he's a bit out of sorts atm.

Good defensive effort. Bit concerned about the two yellows though.

Naismith has his strengths but he's useless at passing the ball in tight spaces and unless we want to play 10 men behind the ball all game and only venture into their half on the counter, that's just not good enough for a #10.

McCarthy for either Barry of Besic, we don't need nobody gettin' sent off, and Naismith off for Kev, so we can catch them on the counter, no chance of us doing that while Naismith is still on.

Barkley looks heavy, not quick enough and not involved enough, but i think he can do something special once today. We may win, we may lose, let's just hope
