Hopefully early changes for us. I can also see Fabregas coming on for them tho. Lukaku is playing far too deep....and still missing headers aimed at Lennon by Howard for some reason. Up the pace with the passing Blues...

Naismith is getting plenty of stick, but has lukaku been any better?
Yes he has. Although Rom has given the ball away just as much, he is on the front line and looks dangerous. Naismith is giving the ball away in midfield. It is so difficult to build attacks when you have someone playing in midfield that cant pass a football. The dynamic of the game would completely change if we had someone more technically gifted in there.

I heard sections of the Chelsea fans chanting 'Naismith, Naismith'...they obviously want Jose to sigh him up. Fortunately our even more astute manager has tied Naisy into a 3 year extension. He knows that Naisy is a goal creating machine for Lukaku (especially with Rom's awesome first touch and trapping skills). Wonderful times to be an Evertonian. We are VERY good

For once it would be understandable.
Barry's on a yellow too, though Roberto probably trusts Barry more to not get a red.

I was wrong about the formation, looks more like a 4-2-3-1 with Barkley in the hole, seems reasonably effective. Naismith has been poor, don't think he'll come off though because he's a set-piece threat, and that's our best bet for stealing this. Expect him to be better in the 2nd half at any rate, seems like nerves more than anything else (slipping, etc.)

As I said before, we have a good chance of getting something out of this now that we made it to halftime with the clean sheet. Expect we'll focus on maintaining concentration, bring on McCarthy for a player on a yellow, and maybe bring Mirallas on if we go behind, or in the last 5 to try and steal it.

I'd get Mirallas on for Naismith here. He looks like he's a bit out of sorts atm.

Good defensive effort. Bit concerned about the two yellows though.

Apparently, according to BT commentary, Mirallas has announced in a European interview that 'hes looking for a new challenge' As I said during the 'penalty' fiasco....he's off.

It would help us on the counter.

The Barry factor is gonna kill us though unless Bobby makes the change by 60mins. His legs are gone.
