Top teams know that in order to change the tempo of a game or to put pressure on a ref simulated fouls or exaggerated reactions to the opposition's tackles are required.

When Barry made that stupid tackle about five Chelsea players started running towards the ref bellowing for justice, insulted EFC players who were outnumbered and were able to convert a silly tackle into a red card.

Terry and co. know that their manager approves and encourages such action. In fact Mourinho often uses similar tactics from the touchline.

It works well especially against teams like EFC less so against teams like Athletico Madrid.

The only solution is to raise the threshold of what is deemed a bookable offence, or for that matter a foul. The lower the tolerance level of what is a fair challenge, the more that players will take advantage and act up, ask for yellow cards etc etc.

Unfortunately there's little chance of this happening and certainly not with a prick like Michel "Football should be a non-contact sport" Platini in a position of power.

Sin bin players? 2mins for a foul, 10 mins for a yellow.
sit back and watch the chaos :-)

Did anyone see the news tonight about Chelsea supporters. They would not let a Black Man on the train, kept pushing him off. They were videod chanting "We are racist and repeating it adding that they love it"

Turds all of them.
