very controlled first half....always in control without really threatening...definitely Barkley or Del for Pienaar would be my change 10 mins into 2nd half if it stays the same.
Nais' movement and first touch has been top notch considering he's trying to occupy such a decent back four, and Leon has played some neat touches.
With a decent striker this would be a very interesting team....I do think RM is slowly building something, despite the nay-sayer's expecting us to win every game.

Chelsea fans very quiet in Stamford Bridge, very good football from us, some great passing just need to put a chance away.

Would like to see Del on straight up

Still think Naismith will score ...

I think people pointing at the lack of a goalscorer as the reason we haven't scored are slightly off the mark. The reason we're looking effective in the final without a cutting edge is because Naysmith is being deployed as a deep attacker - he's dropping in to link up the play rather than standing on the last man looking for headers and through balls. If you swapped him for an out and out striker we probably wouldn't look as composed in possession and we wouldn't be in their half nearly as much.

You can't have it all...

If we want to get something out of it, Delboy will need to be on around the 60minute mark.

Martinez needs to be astute here and to stop us losing the game.

Give us Barkley and Deulofeu for Mirallas and Osman ffs, get a bit of genuine quality in the final third

we tend to dominate the ball posession but it is quite slow stuff we are producing atm.

but at the same time we are suffogating their game too. draw would be ok.

This is going to be an absolutely textbook Chelsea win.

We play well first half, miss our chances, they'll take theirs. We lose, say we played well and how we've got a lot to build on for next time. Rinse and repeat.

Prove me wrong, Everton.
