for me we limited Chelsea to practically nothing that half, which is a massive improvement on the weekend and recent weeks efforts, interesting to see how we approach the second half

Unsworth needs to make some changes. If that set piece hadn't resulted in a goal, I'd say we did our job. We are a goal behind and need to get something going. Something needs to happen with Rooney whether a switch or moving him deeper.

This is how we'll play even if we get Guardiola in. Being scared seems to be entrenched in our culture now. Not having a go at Unsy. I already feel sorry for him cos he is inheriting a squad that has the weakest defence we've had for years and no real attacking talent that can stretch a defence.

Shame for Baines and Jagielka. Both have served this club really well but they are well past being elite players now.
Our back 4 is arguably the weakest in the league, only Palace look as inept.

Upfront we have another aged, legs gone legend, only this one is of the Manchester United variety. Other than that we have kids and an erratic Niasse.

That is a recipe for disaster.
Leaky defence / goal shy attack.

The keeper and midfield are isolated as we have huge gaping holes that every team can exploit. We have not had this sort of problem before in the era of 'transfer window's. Previously we went out and acquired Ferguson / Bakayoko

We could end up needing a Kevin Campbell type miracle.
