I feel like I'm the only one willing to comment on how consistently poor Baines has been for us for the past season and a half now. Fantastic professional and role-model, don't get me wrong. But he is absolutely beyond past his best these days. Less said about Williams the better...absolutely shocking this season. Needs punted.

That was abysmal. Playing Lennon to help Kenny out is not the way to get us forward.

Knocking long balls to Rooney or Balls over the top to Rooney or balls down the channels to Rooney isn't going to work, but the defence has no option as the 3 central midfielders are so deep it's not worth giving them the ball as none of them can beat a man.

He probably won't, as Koeman was criticised for making HT changes, as it was seen as an admission he'd got it wrong, but he needs to go 4-2-3-1 lose one of the holding midfielders and get another attacker up, either DCL with Rooney in the centre of the three or DCL and Sigurdsson for Rooney and one of the central midfielders.

The midfield needs to have ball controlling and ball passing qualities. Even if you're a DM you must possess some ball playing quality. Somehow all CMs we have only seem to want to tackle and have 0 passing abilities. Wish we had kept Barry. He was slow but had a good pass in him.
