They played better than us. They deserved to win. We were good defensively for 30 minutes. When they scored the game became difficult for us. They are a good team.

"Jordan did well. For the penalty he can do better but it doesn't change the performance. I think it was a penalty.

"The game that we planned was what we got for 30 minutes. We didn't have a lot of opportunities. Richarlison had a chance. But we have to be honest, we are not at the same level. We cannot play an open game against this kind of team. It was the plan to play the same way as we played against Liverpool, but against Liverpool we scored early.

"We are looking to fight for Europe. This is good for us. We will be there until the last game. We are disappointed for this defeat but no tragedy. We look to the next game.

If we ain’t good enough we ain’t good enough and today was a good game to see where we are, I even think full strength they would have beaten us. We are miles off so still lots of work to do.

I honestly think on current form Chelsea are arguably the best side in the prem. Sounds ridiculous after City's 21 game winning run but just in the last few games Chelsea under Tuchel are transformed.

United beat City and deservedly so it could have been three or four if Martial hadn't missed easy chances, City will no doubt bounce back and are still setting the standard. Recently though Chelsea are meeting that standard

Will be too positive for most on here that.

We're bloody 5th and lost to a good chelsea team, on a manager bounce with real quality in their side.
 

I thought we played ok. I wouldn’t criticise any of our players except for the two mistakes by Holgate and Pickford, and even then I thought Pickford had a really good game. We played some good stuff and were beaten by an own goal and a pen. It happens.......
