Do you reckon Chinese families sit at home on a Saturday evening and order an Indian takeaway or a kfc .. a kebab or a burger even ?
itsI have observed, on any subject, that there is a 40 mile exclusion zone around Swindon where absolutely nothing good exists.
I'm not in Swindon, but close enough to feel it's effects.
I'd put chow mein and chop suey into the watery gravy profile every time. Maybe it's just the way it's done in North Wiltshire. Agree, Satay stands alone- could be a third profile.

I have a workmate from Szechuan. He claims there are no local desserts in the province which I find strange. No banana fritters? Well I never...Beef in Szechuan sauce can be good but depends on where you go.
Beef Szechuan. Ask for extra chilli and garlic. Half rice, half chips. Plenty of vinegar.
Hmmmm I think you're exaggerating there.I have observed, on any subject, that there is a 40 mile exclusion zone around Swindon where absolutely nothing good exists.
