It's no big deal: I think (that is I THINK) it was offside. You believe it was onside based on where the VAR system told you the pass was made and where Richarlison was at that point of the pass and draw a different conclusion.

I'm relaxed about that.

What on earth is this? You’ve seen exactly the same television camera angles as us, how is your opinion pure of heart and ours is because we’ve been tricked by VAR? You are being absolutely demented.

Mate, you're wasting your time here. If we hadn't got the pen because it was ruled offside, he'd be saying it was well onside. He is taking the minority view because it's what he does.

He winds me up at times, but I can only commend his perserverance and commitment to the cause.

the very fact that david "i'll kit us out in white suites cos im mates with armaini" james was on skyu being a complete wum, tells you were the game is, its like WWE wrestling. Just noise after noise to create revenue.

It looked offside to me. That's all I can say.

My point is that others can use VAR lines all day about how it was onside but they are being inconsistent - as they reject other VAR decisions in the same actual move!

Ergo: I reject the bunkum of VAR. It has zero credibility to me. I stick with my own judgement. It may be right or wrong, but at least it's mine and I'm not being conned by a scam system that protects the interests of the elite teams.
Mate - it's not about offside or onside in this instance (he clearly wasn't offside btw!) and we all know VAR is bent.

They didn't review any ghost offside, as there wasn't one.

This issue is the handball, nothing else, so I don't get what demented quest you are on here.

Var only looked at the handball and they put on the big screen, after spending 2 minutes looking at multiple angles of the most blatant handball I think I have ever seen, that it was no handball by rodri. That's the issue and why the club has kicked off and why Riley has apologised!

Theres nothing else to be said.

the ref on the pitch missed it anyway so if there was no VAR we still wouldn't have got a penalty.
they need to improve the officials whether they're on the pitch or in the VAR room.
probably need to pay them more too so they aren't susceptible to a bung which i believe kavanagh has had.
If he got the bung it hasn’t stopped him getting to referee the Burnley v Leicester game at the weekend.

You got any evidence to suggest it was offside? Looked level to me when sky showed a good angle.

Now I sometimes have opinions contrary to others, such as I was behind the Rafael appointment. But just seems sometimes like you take the minority view for the sake of it?

Most referees declare which team they support. A quick google search reveals Kavanagh hasn’t declared who he supports but he is from Manchester. Interesting wording from the Daily Star below:

Chris Kavanagh moved to the Premier League from the Football League back in 2017.

The 35-year-old has been careful over who he supports, but the only Premier League team he hasn’t refereed over this season being Crystal Palace, who he also didn’t oversee last season.

Hang on, Riley has apologised? Well at least we’ve given the FA and PGMOL a kick up the arse, which might see us benefit from a few dodgy decisions going forward. But imagine if we went down by 1 point.

Totally agree that an apology is no where near enough mate, but at least we have kicked off and made a stink about the terrible call, so we may get some fair decisions now and we shouldn't see kavanagh anywhere near our matches for the foreseeable.

If we go down by a point I would be suing the arse out of the premier League and pmgol.

Sorry but if they apologised then this reff should be sacked and the results be adjusted. What the hell? If we go down by one point we should sue them for hundreds of millions.
