Think signing with Brentford was his way back to show he could still play after his heart complication at the Euros. Now that he has come back and played well, teams with higher aspirations will be interested

That was last season. We are 9th after 0 games in the 22/23 season. Exciting times.

100% we should try and sign him and to be honest he is a world class player on a free transfer. He is exactly the type of player we do not have - in the same bracket as De Bruyne and Fernándes for me. Prior to last summer he had just won a title with Inter and was the driving force in the ever improving Danish team where he is now back as a driving force. They just beat France....

Maybe he is mates with Dele who will put in good word? Maybe he will take 120k a week for 2 years? He would be priority number one for me this summer though.
