The fibre optic one is the better choice, Vim. Getting [Poor language removed] needles everywhere is a real pain in the arse. Plus, those trendy artificial ones actually look really nice.

On your second point, I do believe that traditionally speaking it is the 24th December when you would put the tree up, which is the first day of the twelve. But perhaps I'm wrong.

This year, I didn't even bother getting a christmas tree. The Christmas spirit inside of me has really found a good hiding place. I'm just as big a fan of christmas as a certain Mr. Scrooge, before he was paid a visit by the three ghosts.

Best thing of christmas, is that most of the time I get the chance to come over to England to watch the blues.
