good riddance to the tosspot
the only other way i would've preffered it is if the owners had courted someone for weeks in the papers before giving him a call on xmas morning, saying it's just a normal day where they are so they dont see a problem.
he'll no doubt be getting a vast payoff, if it restricts him from working for the remainder of it then i can see him sitting on his fat arsh that he used to hold defenders off with, lets face it he wont last long anywhere so its no point giving up the payoff for a job.
barnes and mcateer in !! or are they going to the pishpatch over the park.
apparantly they were proper sly to arle sparky... Just like they were in signing some players. Throughout the weeks they've been sorting out his replacement behind his back, Hiddink and Mancini being the two. They even told sparky he's sacked and this was his last game as well as inviting Mancini to the game today where he sat in the directors box.
Proper tucked him over hahahahahaha
It's like the good old days of Peter (Comb-over) Swales.![]()
Albeit with a bit more money.
I said back in the summer Hughes's time would be short at city and been prooved right good manager but honestly i think he got a little carried away with himself with the "big club" comments.
wow mate id never disrespect the dead
anyway regarding hughes - i did say my bit on here when the whole lescott saga was going on so you wont be too suprised when i say im glad to see the back of hughes.
for me he was the main reason the everton fans had issues with city which was a bloody shame because before that everton and city got on pretty well did we not ?
i just hope things can simmer a bit between the two clubs now because lifes to short for trivial things when theres enough bad [Poor language removed] going on in the world like our troops thats getting killed overseas especially this time of year
good luck tomoz in your game lads![]()

No mate, me personally, i have always had an issue with City, even before you became smug with all your millions.
Your fans are a horrible, nasty piece. When i was at City away game once, i saw two big fella's, your fans, set upon 2 young Evertonians, just because they were Everton fans. All i hear you call United fans is 'the Munich's', you kicked off last season on us when Cahill scored in the last minute to beat you at your place and the Lescott/Hughes thing just rubbed salt in the wound
I try hard not to succumb to the Liverpool/Manchester rivalry, but after going to your place the last few years, i find it so hard not to hate Mancs, even though i have a lot of manc friends.
Your a bad set of fans, you think your a big club, you were nothing before the money came, a mediocre Prem side who hadn't won sweet FA for decades. Your stadium tour trophy room is a shrine to Ricky Hatton rather than trophies you have won (sorry forgot the magnificent Division 2 playoff trophy you won when you beat the mighty Gillingham - on penalties!)
Was made up to see Hughes sacked and i hope one day the arabs see sense and pull the money on you. We'd soon see your heroes, the Adeybayor's, Barry's, Toure's, Lescott's do one then. There only there for the money, certainly not the history, pride and stature of Manchester City Football Club - hope you like it that way aswell.
Although the whole Lescott saga was a bit mad, I don't have as much of an issue with Hughes as many of you seem to have.
Players come and go.
Managers come and go.
Moyes did the right thing in the end, he wasnt our best player but he scored a few goals. Thats what we have missed the most but he hasnt produced the form he was at everton so for him being the way he was and Hughes going about his work the way he did they derserve to be dropped. City fans think they should have the title straight away. Why they are no where near Chelsea, Man utd and Arsenal they are sixth in the league and think that is right for this time.
You never know Hughes may end up in Liverpool!!!!
BrilliantHi m8, welcome back.
I don't think Hughes is the reason for fans of other clubs, especially ours, taking a bit of a dislike towards City fans.
The reason for that surely has to be the change in character of City fans, and their new found disrespect towards other clubs, combined with apparent delusions of grandeur.
Yes, not every fan offers their opinions on the internet, and yes, many City fans aren't bitten by the 'we're superior' bug, but to lay the blame in Hghes' corner is a little unjust.
As for Hughes, he was doing ok in my eyes, and buying the right kind of players for the Prem, even if he did come across as a bit smug, though what manager wouldn't with all that money.
He deserved at least untill the end of the season, but obviously the owners, who also now seem to think they can simply buy the title, had set higher targets for him than those reported.
I'm not a fan of foreign managers taking over the jobs of British managers anymore than I'm a fan of foreign football players doing the same.
It wouldn't surprise me if the reason he was sacked earlier than anticipated was down to your ungrateful and impatient supporters, who constantly knocked him throughout.
Here's a little picture for your amusement.

Oh, and one I made earlier.
