Unfortunately yeah, but the question is can the fans be bothered, I don't see the same enthusiasm this time
it's a real sign that we are in big trouble. we are nearly resigned to it at this stage. like its going to happen anyway. we can't keep getting away with it.

the intensity v an average Fulham side said it all. the lack of quality on show from our side says even more. goodison was quite. nearly telling the players , we know yer are crap and we are tired of trying to help ye.

Park the coach at the top of Goodison Road and walk the rest of the way (safely). Inhale the atmosphere and understand what it feels like to walk down Goodison Road on matchday. If that doesn't get you up for a game then I don't know what will.

"Then launch the scud missile directly at the seat of Neal Maupay and smell the Semtex in the air."

Is it understandable though? I didn't see Newcastle fans giving up on Newcastle because of Ashley, United fans giving up because of the way they were ran, same with Liverpool and West Ham fans who have both had issues, why should we just give up?
If we had given up we wouldn’t be full every week or away allocations being sold out. Haven’t given up or I’d stop going the game but I’ve given up caring what happens more important things in life to channel your energy into than a load of millionaires who don’t give a 💩 yes they will come and go and Everton will still be there hopefully anyway but these last 2 seasons and lack of effort from everyone in the club from top to bottom has made me reevaluate just how important football is and in reality it’s not worth losing sleep over much more pressing issues in the world than a squad of useless players if we end up in the championship then so be it because that’s the squad we’ve acquired

The wage thieves we have for a team don't deserve the level of support they get from us. We'll go through this all over again, and hopefully, it's enough to drag the donkeys over the line, but I honestly don't think it will be this time. They're almost entirely unarsed and the handful that do care are crap and/or past it. With the exception of Pickford there isn't a single decent player among them that actually gives a dam about the club or the fans.

The majority of replies to this clearly show, the fans have given up. Last season, so many were up for creating an atmosphere, petrified of relegation. This season, it's like we're all resigned to it. People being mocked for daring to try and help in any way. We're going down without a fight.

The Fulham game had me convinced that the players don't care enough, but then I'm hypocritical to myself, as the Spurs game had me believing that they had fight in them. My head is wrecked and it's worrying that the majority just seem to have accepted it this time.
