Ever thought about a job in marketing? That's really sold it to me.Kopi Luwak. If you like your coffee beans half digested and shat out by a weasel, then this is the one for you.
Hi Mate, I love coffee. I for the last year have been purchasing from these guys https://www.recentbeans.com/ Have visited their shop and its amazing. They deliver to your house would suggest trying their sample pack and then choosing what you like. Nose to the Grindstone is my favoutire.Sorry for the new thread - I thought there were previous coffee threads, but none of them seem to be open for replies.
I was after some recommendations on some coffee beans, having been looking and failing to replicate an amazing cuppa joe I had years back.
I tend to use a stove top or AeroPress. The overriding flavours I tend to go for are chocolatey / tobacco-ey, and have really enjoyed the following beans - but wondered if any of the fine folk from GOT had any recommendations?
- Spiller & tait - Colombia huila / Peruvian organic
- Redber - sumatra mandheling
- brown bear - Guatemala antigua
Cheers!
Thanks for that. That sample pack is a really good idea, would like to see more places do that. More often than not I buy a 1kg bag and want to try something new towards the end of the bag.Hi Mate, I love coffee. Thanks. So that's a new set of coffees each month?i have a coffee subscription from here https://cartwheelcoffee.com/pages/subscription - £17 a month for 250g two bags, pretty good value considering how expensive coffee is at the moment. You get about £20-£25 worth each time
We got a Smeg coffee grinder in the sale a year or so ago, one of the best things i have bought it ages and i was very reluctant to buy it at the time
Only drink coffe made from light roast east African beans so I won't be contributing and have avoided being a hipster.*makes notes of contributing posters for hipster list*
