Colombian National Team

Thankfully the math is working in Colombia's favor. Even as horrendous as we did today we still be able to contend for a spot at the WC if we do better next matches. Now if we could only have a new coach before Copa America. I don't want to go to Colombia to watch this rubbish.

I feel that Queiroz wants to play European style, a pressing style.

But the players are not commited. They play a high line but dont really play and don't know how to cover ground and how to position themselves.

That's on the coach. We can't play a style the players can't commit to or understand. Instead we are giving away goals for fun

Colombia aren't making it through on performances of the past week. They have a lot of injuries, so I'll put it down to that. But they needed to at least beat Uruguay and draw at Ecuador. Now they need to go and beat a BIG team like Brazil and Argentina.

@Sassy Colombian / @UptheTofees I'm glad you guys are enjoying the everton forum, ive been here since 2008 and you already have passed me in your player valuation. :D

Colombia's performances have been quite embarrassing but like @UptheTofees posted already this seems to be a manager issue. While Queiroz record is not horrible it is very questionable. We have had a lot of ties and no enough wins and now two loses on a row. The players don't seem to commited to his pressing style and they don't seem to have the same bond they had with Pekerman, who was the mentor to many of them. The team is just not collectively solid because they have not been coached soundly.

The forum has felt like family. So welcoming and there is so much to discuss about, no just football. It is a little secret corner of the internet that only some of us are fortunate to find :)

This place is like family after just 2 months, so I decided to help keep it going by becoming a forum supporter as well as sponsor a player thread.

Is it possible to sponsor this thread instead of a player one?
Now that you have become a Forum supporter you should check out this thread "Member photo thread- lets see you!!!!:
