Comedians - Rate & Hate

Historically as a story teller Dave Allen was genius, his comedy sketches not quite so good though!
Favourite all time comedian - Billy Connolly by some distance, seen him twice live and thought I would die laughing both times! Gervais can be great at times.
Hate, might be a bit strong, but Bishop, McIntryre, Carr, Millican, Whitehall, and one or two others can all get in the proverbial bin!
My sort of mate

Rate Jim Jeffries, Rhod Gilbert, Frankie Boyle, Jimmy Carr, Louis CK - Shock Humour with a twist especially Dark is my thing.
Hate Michael Macintyre and Lee Evans - Bore the hell out of me.
Saw Frankie Boyle around the time he was all over Mock The Week etc, and he was a massive let down. Just churned out all the same stuff he was doing on TV with very little spontaneity.

Rate: Kevin Bridges, Romesh Ranganathan, Jack Dee, James Acaster

Hate: John Bishop, Lenny Henry, Milton Jones

I've seen Jimmy Carr, Billy Connolly, Harry Hill, Lenny Henry, Jethro, Katherine Ryan, Lee Evans and Bottom Live shows.

Out of that list Lenny Henry was by far the worst. I would like to see Frankie Boyle and Rhod Gilbert at some point.

Saw a guy called Tom Stade once he’s been on TV a bit but seems to have quite a low profile, he was one of the funniest I’ve seen. Sean Lock absolutely brilliant as was Dave Chappel.
As others have said Reginald D Hunter was pretty poor.
Incidentally Jimmy Carr was on my train home from work last week, he’s one weird looking guy in the flesh. Dunno what cosmetic surgery he’s had done but it’s a bit OTT and he looked like he was made of porcelain.

Any current comedian who sit in panels and laugh at absolutely everything that each of the others say. Its like they've already agreed with each other that they are all sh*te so lets try and bluff our fees. Let the audience decide whats funny you kn*bheads!

Didn't read all his war memoirs but when I was very young and read anything that was around the house I absolutely loved Hitler: My Part in His Downfall and Mussolini: His Part in My Downfall. 🤣 An absolute legend of comedy
When I read that the tears were streaming down my face. It's a comic classic.

Speaking of comic classic books....
