uh I never implied that at all? I've seen comments in the Kenwright/Moshiri thread saying the same thing, Not sure what people want her to do so they stop questioning her is all I'm asking.

Don’t think it’s anything against her, most people would have taken that job if offered.

The problem was why didn’t we look outside the club for new ideas as we were completely void of them under Elstone and looks like unfortunately Denise is also completely void of them too.

Your argument is just your own assumptions because we have no information on what happens inside the club, It's just a bit pointless tbh we'll be playing guess work for most of the thread.
No one knows what ideas DBB has and hasn't come up with we haven't got a scoobies.

Yeah we can only judge Denise on what is seen and achieved... as of yet nothing.....

I just see no thinking outside the “Everton box”. USM deal got us all excited because it was something different.

Have we not looked at training wear sponsorship?

I've thought they're been pretty innovative over the past few years. An antiperspirant partner, no idea what Fratelli Beretta do but they're a partner in Italian food or something, Blackwell Global as a forex trading and brokerage service. There's also tyre partners in Davanti and moneycorp - currency exchange.

Aren’t our accounts due soon?

Good point on the above though.

Just my opinion is our bread and butter is kit manufacturer and shirt sponsor.

We currently have Umbro and Sporstspesa.
Sportspesa also sponsors Hull......

Look at the 6 teams above us and their sponsors.

She's done nothing because you haven't seen/heard it she's a CEO not everything is going to be public information, behind closed doors she could have done loads of things or absolutely nothing, We'll never know.

All those above us are competing in another market entirely. Their offer to any potential sponsor gazumps ours.

Take kit sales for one, do you know how many shirts we sell vs all those above us?

Seems a long time ago since we agreed the USM Finch Farm deal doesn’t it?

Since then it’s all dried up, we have re-agreed a terrible kit manufacturing deal in comparison to our rivals and there seems to be no new ideas.

Has anything really changed since Elstone left?

DBB pulling her weight? Or is it as we feared a Kenwright style in-house promotion?

Discuss;
We're more or less the same place in the money table as the football league table.
Much as I hate to say it, qualify for 2 CL finals on the run and watch the money pour in

But how do you get there without increasing revenue so you can spend more money on wages to give us a chance?

Seems a vicious circle anyone who wasn’t already rich struggles to escape from...

No idea on revenue streams but surely if you get on tv a lot and are likely to get on tv a lot in the future (as in every week in the case of sky 6) then you are worth more money to sponsors. Seems simple enough.

Not sure what the club can do on that side until there are results on the pitch.

Any 'special' sponsorship deals the mega-rich clubs have/had in place are no longer possible for us due to ffp I think so for now I assume they are doing what they think is best. There will always be people who think we should be getting more but I don't think it should be used as a highlight to belittle the club. We are where we are.

Maybe a bit of success on the pitch will give us a few more quid for shirt sponsorship or BMD naming rights. Or maybe not.

Bit dated again but as an indication;

Then factor in increased exposure (media+more/European fixtures) and you suddenly begin to understand the below.

Moving on. Deloitte table below.

Which clubs should we be above on this?...

See this what happens on the forum, a question is raised saying the phrase “is she” so you take that as me giving her a damning assessment. It’s a question to be debated.

Not some sort of witch hunt.
So you say it’s not a witch-hunt or you giving her a damning assessment, yet your further posts are critical of DBB.

Yeah we can only judge Denise on what is seen and achieved... as of yet nothing.....

Given you set the title as “Commercial Revenue” you seem to have targeted DBB as the culprit for not meeting your ideas on the level you think we should be at. Which is fair enough, we all have different views, so what is it you believe she has failed to do that would meet your aspirations?

How?
Possibly slowly, maybe not a quick as Spurs, but basically the same method. Buy cheap, sell dear and hope to 'k Brands can keep spotting bargins and that Silva is the man to polish them up and get the team on the move up.
One game at a time...starting tomorrow.
