Computer games.

Hadn't seen that review, cheers. It does look very tempting. The main thing I'd be concerned about is IPS glow - haven't had one before and it's the kind of thing that might irritate me. Anyway, let me know how you get on with it if you can be arsed.
It just arrived today. Dell are weird and never even told me it had shipped.

It looks smaller than 27" because there's very little bezel, compared to my very thick bezel 28" it has replaced.

First time using 165Hz and wow, what a difference compared to 60Hz.

One problem - it's not officially GSync, its 'GSync Compatible' aka AMD FreeSync with a NVidia stamp. I tried World of Tanks and was getting intermittent black screens for 2-4 seconds every ~10 seconds. Found others reporting similar problems in other games and its a problem with GSync. Disabling that in Nvidia control panel solved my problem entirely and I don't notice any difference in smoothness ingame, 165Hz is still buttery smooth. If GSync is important to you, probably best to go for a full GSync certified monitor - otherwise it's very nice.
Comes with UK and US plugs, HDMI and DisplayPort cables. I've got it mounted onto a VESA double-monitor arm so can't comment on the stand.

Nice one, cheers for this. I'd be using it for consoles and watching stuff primarily, so I'm not massively arsed about GSync. No issues with glow/bleed?

Annoyingly they seem to have put the price up.

I got FM20 free from Epic Games the other week.

I used to have Xbox game pass for Windows and had tried it out on there but I uninstalled it due to the crazy amount of long shots being scored in games.

Anyone know if they've fixed the long shots?

I did the same, and have been playing the last few days. Definitely haven't noticed quite so many ridiculous long shots going in against me, and also my FBs/wingers seem to actually cross the ball sometimes now as well!!

Anyone know if there’ll be more Series X’s in stock before November 10th?

Wanna order one but be arsed to queue on release day to get one and heard I may then have to wait til next year...
